Mr. Rose began his lifelong training in Uechi-ryu Karate-do at age 13 under the tutelage of Sensei Walter Mattson. At 17, Mr. Rose joined the dojo of Sensei Durkin (Uechi-ryu Judan 10th degree black belt) and has been training under Sensei Durkin for over fourty years. He has trained with the world’s finest Martial Artists both here and abroad. Mr. Rose has competed, performed and presented at an international level. Mr. Rose’s experience, knowledge and insight are what makes T. Rose’s Uechi-ryu Karate Dojo unique and special.

Ty Rose began training at age 5.  He is currently a Yondan (4th Degree Black Belt).  Ty is well versed in Shoshin Jiu Jitsu as well as boxing.  As an instructor, Ty brings a wealth of experience and insight to the floor.  Ty instructs both Adult and Children’s classes.

A Senior student at our Dojo, Nick is an outstanding karateka.  Nick works exclusively with the adult students where is knowledge, technical acumen, and physical ability make him a exceptional teacher.  Nick has earned his Rokudan  Uechi-ryu Karate and is now Master Level.
